The Man On Whom South East and The Nation's Hope For Igbo mandate Rest On

Dr. Orji Uzor Kalu
By Comrade Kelvin Ezedimbu

I have really taken my time as a citizen of Nigeria to look into Nigerian leadership, and here is my conclusion, Nigeria as a country is not corrupt but most corrupt leaders in the nation makes it look corrupt.

For instance apart from the capital, the southeast is supposed to be the most beautiful and well organized region in Nigeria but the reason why it has remained underdeveloped, is because leaders from the region have refused to come together and operate like brothers.

In 2007 one of south east's strongest leader Dr Orji Uzor Kalu a pure breed of the Igbo tribe contested for president and came 4th, this is because most of our brothers and sisters that made up the Ohaneze Ndi Igbo sold him out by taking bribes to vote for the other region. Now the question is, must the Igbos which are known as the south east remain this way?

Apart from Alex Ekwueme, we have never had any Igbo man in the presidency. As a people  known to be wise and blessed abundantly in all ramifications the way the other region kept supporting their own until the mandate was given to them, that is the way we the blessed and most cheated in the nation need to come together and support one of our own that has struggled before and knows what it takes to run for presidency.

Alex Ekwueme in a press release 2009 said "my brave son and brother orji uzor kalu deem it fit to be supported by we to govern this country as a son of the soil from Igbo tribe",

The late lgbo leader Chief Odimegwu Ojukwu in a press release in 2008 said " if there is one Igbo man we should stand with and support as our own to go for presidency from the south east that man should be Orji Kalu because he is one man i have sat down with, ate and dine with, seeing that he is a loving and peaceful man that made peace between two brothers Muhammadu Buhari and ibrahim badamsi babagida.

I believe there is hope for south east since Orji Kalu still exist, this is a man that have created more leaders than followers ", have contributed so much to the country's economy, in 2013 Asiwaju bola Ahmed Tinubu said " there is hope for south east to produce a president if only they will come together join forces and support my friend and their brother Orji Kalu who is the only person that can stand and fight the battle till the end, because it baffles me when some of them from south east say they don't have leaders l always quote them wrong, because they don't know the kind of asset they have in the person of Orji Kalu.

These has gone beyond all of us, when some youths go around to take peanuts from the other regions just to write nonsense, to say southeast don't have leaders or are suffering from sins of their fore fathers.

As a full pure breed from the southeast I stand out to prove them wrong. We have great leaders in Anambra, people like Peter Obi,Willie Obiano, ifeanyi Ubah,Andy Ubah, Arthur Eze and many others, then in Imo we have Achike udenwa,Festus odimegwu, Rochas Okorocha, Ararume and many others .

When Orji Kalu contested for presidency ifeanyi Ubah supported him because he knew that he is one man from the east that keeps to his promises also the Igbo's in disapora gave him there full support.

Nigeria will be great soon, let us keep it in our heart that the south east have true leaders, let's stop sabotaging ourselves because of mere peanuts.  Our leader Orji Kalu will contest again at the appropriate time and as at that time lets come together as one blood and give him all the support he deserves to make the other region know that we love ourselves, it will surely come to pass.

Here is a statement he made in the year 2007

"I am a trustee for better tomorrow ,and in me is sincerity of purpose and tenacity of service and humility for I am primarily responsible to the people of southeast and all Nigeria-

Orji uzor kalu.
Keep Hope Alive.
