Biafra or what? I don't understand what Nnamdi Kanu is agitating for - Okorocha

Rochas Okorocha
The Imo State governor, Owelle Rochas Okorocha has said he is yet to understand what really the leader of Indigenous people of Biafra, IPOB, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu is championing for.

According him, if he (Kanu) is agitating for Biafra nation, then he is absolutely wrong, because not all Igbos are ready for secession.

The governor stated this while speaking on a programme called; #PoliticsToday on Channels Television.

The anchor of the programme, Mr. Seun Okinbaloye called up Okorocha to speak on the agitation of Biafra, and the security matters in the South-East region.

Okorocha said, "The truth is South-East has been marginalized in terms of political appointments and infrastructural development, but that doesn't mean we are not Nigerians, we are, but we need our region to have a sense of belonging in the entity called Nigeria.

Speaking on Nnamdi Kanu's led IPOB agitation, Okorocha said, I have not met the young man called Kanu, but I think he is wrong in his agitation, if actually he is agitating for Igbo nation, because majority of Igbos are not ready for secession.

"I don't know exactly what is agitation, if he is agitating for Biafra, I think he is wrong, Okorocha said.
