The Chairman and CEO of stercoll group, Chief Dr Emeka Kalu has  congratulated Muslim faithfuls on the commencement of the Ramadan fast and urged them to remain holy and prayerful throughout the period and beyond.

In a Statement through his Media Aide,Comrade Sunny Idika,  Chief Kalu said the period of fasting, as a period of sober reflection, must be seen by all Muslims as an opportunity to ask for the divine intervention of the Almighty in the affairs of the Country.

“As you pray for God’s mercies over our lives in this season,  do remember that Ramadan is one of the pillars of Islam, and as such, you must use this period to seek the face of Allah for all our troubles.

“As you do this, you must also remember to be of exemplary conduct at all times, as holiness is key to maximizing the spiritual and physical benefits of the Holy Month.”

We have reached a point in our nation where only prayer and concerted efforts are required to lift up our challenges. The reason is that our challenges are multi-dimensional, ranging from corruption and
economic hardship  to man’s inhumanity to man.”
