Orji, Abaribe hails Supreme Court Judgement; Ask Ikpeazu to be generous In Victory

Orji, Abaribe hails Supreme Court
Immediate past governor of Abia State and senator representing Abia central, Sen. Theodore Orji has urged governor Okezie Ikpeazu to be magnanimous in victory irrespective of agonizing campaign of calumny he suffered from the oppositions.

He also praised the aptness of the judiciary especially the Supreme Court saying their precedents have contributed immensely to the sustenance and preservation of our democracy since 1999.

In his congratulatory message to governor Ikpeazu on Friday signed by his Media Adviser, Don Norman Obinna, Sen. Orji said those who seek redress in court of law in a perceived "injustice" did nothing wrong as it is their inalienable right to do so.

He said there is neither victor nor vanquish in this contest as victory for Ikpeazu is victory for all Abia State indigenes.

He enjoined the oppositions and other aggrieved members of the Peoples Democratic Party to take the judgment of the Supreme Court in good faith and support Ikpeazu in his toil to take Abia State to her next level of development.

In the same vein, Senator representing Abia-South Senatorial District, Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe has hailed the supreme court judgement which gave Ikpeazu victory.

In his message, Senator Abaribe said; "Ikpeazu's victory, is a signpost of equity and justice"

Adding that he agree with the CJN that the matter was in the first instance exceptionally frivolous.

According to him; "The judgement has affirmed the desired equity and justice that we have always fought for in Abia and Nigeria.

I congratulate all Abians who stood in solidarity with Gov Okezie Ikpeazu throughout this turbulent period".
