Finally, Buhari attends Juma’at prayers


President Buhari
President Muhammadu Buhari on Friday, joined other Muslim faithful to observe Juma’at prayers at the Presidential Villa, Mosque on Friday.

Dressed in his trademark white flowing gown, he was joined by the Attorney General of the Federation (AGF), Abubakar Malami; National Security Adviser (NSA), Babagana Munguno; Chief of Staff, Abba Kyari and Group Managing Director of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), among others.

The ailing president was unable to observed the prayers at the mosque last week Friday, raising concerns about his actual state of health.

Before then, was also unable to attend the meeting of the Federal Executive Council (FEC) just like last Wednesday.

Last Friday, some state governors including Ibikunle Amosun, Abdulaziz Yari, and Umar Ghanduje of Ogun, Zamfara and Kano, respectively, were on hand to pray with the president but had to do so without him.
