Abia: "The Quest For Good Leadership"
By Ikenna Orji

Abia has never had it well when it comes to good leadership since her creation and this has been of serious concern in our dear State , the masses who vote the leaders into power are the people suffering the most.

Abia would have been a very good example of a state in terms of infrastructure and development if people with good intention, vision and good leadership style take the front row, to save the masses from this mess.

Below are the three most important qualities for good leadership.

1. Integrity
2. Vision
3. Commitment

Unfortunately these qualities are lacking in both the current and past administrations in Abia State which is why the state is still backward after 25 yrs+ it was carved out from the Old Imo State.

Eight years under Chief Theodore Orji was the worst political era in Abia state, especially for those living in Aba, the commercial city of Abia, they really experienced hell in real life.

Abia State has what it takes in terms of human resources to move to another level.

The public declaration by the current governor, that only his government can't fix Aba, is indicative of a defeatist mentality.

This is the time for the Abia youth to say, enough is enough.

But, who do we trust that can deliver the state?, and who can we trust to do the right job?, since the present government has nothing to offer than promises, without fulfillment, 2019 should be our chance to make a great change.

Following wide consultations among genuine youth leaders, the arrow is pointing to one Man, Chief Emeka Kalu -

His good deeds and capabilities are known to all.

His passion for youth empowerment development, as a philanthropist,  is unparalleled. All he thinks every time is the betterment of Abians.

Little wonder when he visited Aba last month, April 2017, he cried out  at the rate of infrastructural decay in the commercial city which has been long tagged as heart of SME hub of Nigeria, Japan of Africa, and China of Nigeria.

Aba will be better if people with good intention and proper vision take over leadership of the state. Having garnered a lot of experience as a successful businessman, he is fit to wear the cap

This brings us to the question;

Who is Chief Emeka Charles Kalu?

Vision

As a businessman turned politician, who was the former governorship aspirant of All Progressive Grand Alliance, APGA, in the 2015 election in Abia State - Chief Kalu had on On 12th March 2017, unanimously adopted by the South East caucus of the Nigeria Youth Forum to represent the South East zone as a member of the Board Of Trustees (BoT) Nigeria Youth Forum.

Currently, his company is working with their foreign partners to bring in  sustainable development in Nigeria, that will add more jobs for the youths.

Why the call on Abians to know him:

The man Chief Emeka Charles Kalu is indeed a man that is worth being celebrated.

A more documentary about him will premier on the AbaCityBlog YouTube channel soon, stay clue for more update.

As 2019 approaches, we urge our people to go out and obtain voters cards Abia needs a liberator,
Let us in unison make that great change.

Stand up and be counted when the time comes.

God bless Abia State.
