The bid to restore Abia - A wake-up call for every Abian - says Chief Emeka Kalu

Eminent businessman, Chairman Stercoll Group worldwide, and former governorship aspirant of  All Progressive Grand Alliance APGA, Chief Emeka Charles Kalu has lent out his voice in the fight to restore Abia lost glory.

Chief Kalu's reactions were following an article published in Abacityblog earlier today, by a columnist, Mr. Onyema Courage - The article which titled: "Abia Is A Rubbish State" drew a lot of views and disagreement as many Abians made their points, while some condemned the author.

The article was borne out of the recent happenings in Abia State, and how the present government has lost its vision to get Abia on the right track.

Following the publication, Chief Charles Kalu, who has been called by Abia Youth to rescue Abia State from the political desperadoes, who have turned the state into a theater, where its citizens are fed up with different investment stories everyday, without being accomplished.

In an interview with Ngozi Onwukwe of Abacityblog, Chief Emeka Kalu said Abians should not lose hope, there will be light at the end of the tunnel, as 2019 draws near.

According to him; "Abia is never a rubbish state as been tagged by you (Abacityblog), but it has been rubbished by those piloting the helm of affairs. The state is blessed with much resources - with talented individuals, which means, if a capable hand is piloting the state, it will be restored back to a great state.

Remember we are God's own state, and God will see us through, Chief Emeka Kalu added.

Meanwhile, Abia Youths for Good Governance, (AYGG) In a statement signed by the group president, Mr. Jeff Uwakwe, has called on Chief Emeka Kalu to run for a governorship position in Abia State come 2019.

According to the statement obtained by Abacityblog, Chief Kalu is the man who the cap fit. "If Abians want a successful Abia State, they need somebody who has already become successful in Life" - the statement added.
