Eminent business and former governorship aspirant of  All Progressive Grand Alliance APGA has urged Nigerians  to keep faith in the nation despite its challenges, saying that with prayers, the country would overcome its trials and achieve greatness.

In his Easter message, Signed by his Media Aide, Comrade Sunny Idika, urged Nigerians to seek the face of God and pray for the  development and growth in every part of the country.

He said, “Easter signifies a renewal, reinvigoration and a resurrection of Christ ... Nigerians must see beyond the trials of the moment and continue to pray and seek the face of God for an end to the challenges of the moment.

"Christians, you all need to find deeper meaning and appeal in the symbolism of the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. The lesson of Easter is for Christians to rededicate themselves to the teachings of Christ, which are peace, faith, hope and love.

“In order to partake in the eternal life which is the essence of His death and resurrection as believed by Christians,it is imperative therefore, that you all must   imbibe the values of charity, compassion and as well as believe in the sanctity of His sacrifice as the basis of a new beginning; a new beginning for self, for the family and the nation.”

Chief Kalu, who said peace was a catalyst for development added, “I urge everyone to work towards the attainment of peace and security in the State and the Country at large, in the absence of which we cannot be talking of good governance that include - sound economic policy, infrastructural development, attracting foreign investors and achieving wealth creation”

He appealed to people of all faiths in the country to continue to maintain their harmonious inter-faith relations, while he thanked his Constituents for their unalloyed support for his leadership , saying he would not betray their trust in him.

Signed: Comrade Sunny Okpo Idika.
