BREAKING: Sen Enyinnaya Abaribe signs Nnamdi Kanu's bail bond

Report reaching Abacityblog has it that Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe, Senator representing Abia-South Senatorial District today, 28th April, 2017 signed the N100m bail bond of the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.

It will be recalled that a  Federal High Court sitting in Abuja on Tuesday granted Kanu’s bail on health grounds.

The IPOB leader was granted bail after part of the charges filed against him and three others – Chidiebere Onwudiwe, Benjamin Madubugwu and David Nwawuisi – were struck out by the court.

Justice Binta Nyako while ruling on the bail application barred Kanu from granting press interview while on bail.


She also warned the IPOB leader against participating in any rally or found in a crowd of more than 10 persons during the course of his bail.

Kanu’s lawyers had said on Thursday they are working hard to perfect his bail conditions before the week runs out.

Meanwhile, apart from Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe, another respected Igbo leader, A former Minister of Aviation, Mr. Osita Chidoka has promised that the bail conditions granted to the leader of Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu will be met.


Contrary to that, a Jewish Rabbi whose name is Chief Immanuel Shalum Okabemadu, has agreed to sign as a surety to Mazi Kanu, report says he has arrived Abuja to perfect the IPOB leader's bail bond.

A source within Kanu's family revealed to Naij.com that the Jewish religious leader was flown into Abuja from Port Harcourt on Wednesday, April 26.

According to the source, "The Rabbi is already here, all other conditions have been met, everything will be concluded shortly and by the help of God Mazi Nnamdi Kanu will be out."
