Sit-at-home order: Ebonyi people are cowards, myopic in Biafra struggle, says IPOB
The sit-at-home order given by the Indigenous People of Bifara (IPOB), Friday recorded total non-compliance as normal activities and vehicular movements was unhindered across the State.
“Ebonyi People are myopic but we the Indigenous People of Biafra are resolute, we cannot succumb to all manner of threats, intimidations and harassments by security agents and the Nigeria government.
“We are unstoppable and we cannot mind Ebonyi people who are not concerned on Biafra course, they have never behaved like Igbos”, he said.
When our correspondent visited some major markets and motor parks, normal activities were ongoing. Public and Civil Servants were also seen on their duty posts when our Correspondent visited.
But there was serious presence of police in strategic locations including the popular Nkaliki where MASSOB office is located as Policemen took over the area.
However, at Water Works and Ogoja roads, there was reports of tear gas thrown by security agents to disperse some groups suspected to be members of IPOB and MASSOB in the State.
