The governor said his government will continue to do its best to deliver on its mandate of providing quality infrastructure, social amenities and welfare to the citizenry.
"I want to express my gratitude to Bayelsans for their support, understanding and prayers offered for the peace and development of the state. The government will continue to meet its obligation to the people.
"Particularly, I want to also thank the state public service for their support and understanding to bear with us in our trying moments. Though the economic downturn experienced in the state is due to the dwindling national economy, the government is working very hard to turn things around by diversifying the economy."
